Since we're on the topic of BMX rides:

1979 Diamondback Pro. Double drop out forks. Suntour V/x cranks. MKS Footjaws pedals. Sugino Diamondback Stem. Race Inc. alloy bars. Kashimax seat. Alloy fluted seat post. Suntour seat clamp. Dia-Compe MX-890 brake and Tech-III lever. Currently awaiting some Araya 7c's and 1st gen bolt-through Bullseye hubs that are in the process of being laced. Notice the loop tail design.

This is my 1980 Schwinn Sting. Voted BMX of the year in 1979. Hand built one at a time at the Paramount factory in Chicago, Ill. Fillet brazed, polished to perfection, and then chromed.

Schwinn Sting frame and fork. Redline Flight 401 single pinch full-wrap 180mm cranks w/suntour sealed bottom bracket. Campagnolo head set. Viscount Aero seat, Haro Flo-Panel number plate, 461 was my ABA number for 2010. GT Pro bars. Dia-Compe MX-1000 brake and tech 3 lever. Araya 7x rims laced to Sunshine hubs (flip-flop rear with 16 and 14 tooth free wheels). Suntour XC-II pedals. Pro-III stem (rare). A'me tri grips, and big and little Cheng Shin comp-III copies.
